THE RESILIENCE ASSEMBLY.
THE MASK WE WEAR.
Amanda delivers impactful school assemblies that help students build real resilience, self-trust, and confidence — not by pretending they’re okay, but by understanding what they’re carrying and learning how to move forward.
Amanda challenges students to lower the mask for at least one trusted person, reminding them that resilience isn’t built by pretending things are fine—it’s built by choosing to be real and asking for support.
Through powerful storytelling and lived experience, students learn how to:
-
Build resilience when life feels unfair
-
Turn pain into purpose
-
Speak up instead of carrying everything alone
-
Make decisions that reflect who they truly are
OWN YOUR STORY.
Most students don’t wake up one day and decide to fake it.
It happens slowly—after disappointment, rejection, or unseen struggles at home. Over time, a mask forms, first to protect, but eventually it thickens, hiding more than just their emotions.
Amanda knows this firsthand.
At 14, after a devastating tragedy, she kept showing up, hiding what was really going on. By 15, she was navigating life on her own—not because help wasn’t available, but because she didn’t ask.
From the outside, she appeared strong. But on the inside, isolation grew heavier with every mask she put on.
In this assembly, students learn that the mask may protect them, but it also blocks connection, growth, and progress.

“Amanda’s passion is evident everytime she speaks.”
"It could not be more from the heart and raw. It often brings a hush over the crowd. I have seen Amanda speak twice now and both times left wishing I could get more."
what students are saying
This is the kind of impact schools are looking for — students engaged, reflecting, and leaving with a message they can actually apply in their lives.
“The most impactful part to me was how it reminded us that it’s okay to be vulnerable. It’s not a weakness.”
— Chloe, 17
“It reminded me that regardless of what you go through you're in charge of your life and it’s all up to you.”
— Faith, 18
“I think I’ll take away that regardless of what brings you down you can always get back up.”
— Lucas, 17

What's the worst thing you've been through in your life?
As a teenager, Amanda was witness to a heartbreaking tragedy when three beautiful children lost their lives in her home during an innocent game of hide-and-seek.
The accident happened just 2 weeks shy of Amanda's 14th birthday. She chose to keep showing up — returning to school three days later, graduating with her class, and earning the Athletic Award during one of the hardest seasons of her life.
She also endured profound personal adversity that could have defined her story. Instead, she made a decision: take action and change her future.
This mentality would become the beginning of something greater - she's built two successful businesses and one of the fastest growing grassroots charitable initiatives in her community with the mission to boost kids self-worth and self-esteem by making them feel special at Christmas.
She chose resilience.
She chose action.
She chose purpose.
Today, Amanda partners with schools to help students drop their masks, own their identity, and build confidence to become their best selves.
FROM PAIN TO PURPOSE
Years later, she turned that tragedy into action by founding Gift-a-Family, a community initiative that has raised over $300,000 and supported hundreds of local children with full Christmas experiences.
Her message to students is simple:
What you go through doesn’t define you — but it can shape what you choose to do next.
Resilience is built when life feels unfair. You keep showing up. You take action.
And you choose kindness. Because you don't know what pain someone is hiding behind their mask.

KINDNESS IS A DECISION.
WHO SHOULD CARE.
For schools ready to move beyond one-off assemblies and create real impact.
PRINCIPALS & VICE PRINCIPALS
You’re responsible for school culture, student well-being, and outcomes — not just attendance at an assembly.
You don’t need another motivational talk.
You need something that actually connects.
Amanda delivers assemblies that shift how students think, show up, and support each other — building resilience, accountability, and a stronger school culture without sounding scripted or out of touch.
Activity Directors
You want an assembly that actually holds attention — not one students sit through and forget.
Amanda creates an experience that pulls students in, keeps them engaged, and gets them thinking, talking, and reflecting long after the bell rings.
GUIDANCE COUNSELLORS
You see what most people don’t — the students who are struggling quietly.
Amanda gives students language and permission to open up.
Her keynote helps them take off the mask, build self-trust, and feel safe taking that first step toward support.
Because when one student speaks up, everything can change.
THE STUDENT OUTCOME
Students leave with one clear message:
Lower the mask for one trusted person.
They learn that while resilience means continuing to show up, they don’t have to carry everything alone — and that one small step can change everything.
